I See YOU (Part 3)
ABOUT THIS MESSAGE
This powerful message takes us to the foot of Mount Sinai, where God invited His newly liberated people into something far greater than mere rule-following—He invited them into relationship. Drawing from Exodus 19 and 20, we discover that before God ever gave the Ten Commandments, He first declared His love: 'I brought you to myself. You are my treasured possession.' This changes everything about how we understand our faith journey. We're challenged to recognize that God doesn't see us primarily as servants to be used, but as beloved children to be known. The sermon confronts a critical gap many of us experience—the painful distance between our authentic selves and the personas we project to others. This cognitive dissonance creates anxiety, fear, and spiritual paralysis. But God's invitation remains: come near, be seen, be loved. The call to consecration isn't about religious performance; it's about creating sacred space where transformation can occur. We're invited to establish rhythms of silence, solitude, confession, and Sabbath rest—not as legalistic obligations, but as lifelines to intimacy with God. In our distracted, hurried culture where we touch our phones thousands of times daily, the ancient practice of simply being still before God becomes revolutionary. The question we must answer is profound: Will we accept the invitation to draw near?
